Quality Assurance Policy
The Quality Assurance Policy of the Medical School is fully aligned with the Quality Policy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). Through this alignment, the School reaffirms its commitment to providing high-quality higher education in both Greek and English. The Medical School applies this Quality Policy to the Postgraduate Programme “Forensic Psychiatry,” both at present and in the future. The Programme operates in accordance with the procedures set out in the University’s Quality Assurance System (QAS), with the primary objective of continuous improvement.
The Quality Policy strengthens the academic identity and strategic orientation of the Programme, supports its mission and objectives, and ensures the achievement of specific annual quality targets. It also defines the methods and resources required to attain these goals and guarantees the active participation of stakeholders in evaluation and review processes.
For the effective implementation of this policy, the Medical School applies the quality assurance procedures described in the University’s QAS Manual, appropriately adapted to the specific characteristics of the Postgraduate Programme, in close cooperation with the University’s Quality Assurance Unit (MODIP).
